No Such Place Launches Multiplayer Demo for Steam Next Fest

VANCOUVER, BC — ChillyRoom Game's independent studio Crit Team has announced the release of a public multiplayer demo for No Such Place, its upcoming top-down PvE extraction shooter, available on Steam starting June 15, 2026, just before Steam Next Fest.

The demo provides access to the game's early progression system and supports both solo play and online co-op for one to four players. It is available in English, Japanese, and Chinese. Notably, part of the player's demo progression data will carry over into the full release, offering an incentive for early participation.

In No Such Place, players assume the role of agents from the U.R.C. — Unknown Research Consortium, an organization dedicated to investigating supernatural anomalies erased from known history. Agents are dispatched into fragmented dimensions to survive hostile environments, gather supplies and intelligence, and locate an extraction point before time runs out. The game features exploration of abandoned military outposts, research facilities, and other eerie locations, where players scavenge for weapons, medicine, and equipment while uncovering ancient relics and classified documents.

Survival is paramount, with threats including not only monsters but also rival agents, mercenaries, and deranged survivors. The game emphasizes a flexible weapon customization system that allows mixing and matching parts from different eras, such as attaching a motorcycle suppressor to an assault rifle or mounting a Victorian brass scope on modern military hardware. Players can grow stronger across multiple progression paths, with physical attributes and weapon proficiencies improving through missions.

Resources recovered during expeditions can be used to build and upgrade a Safehouse, turning scrap into a foundation for future survival. The co-op mode enables teams of up to four players to cover more ground, take on dangerous objectives, and rescue each other before extraction.

The demo is available on Steam, and the full game is expected to release in Q4 2026. For more information, visit the Steam page or the official website.
