Nonprofits Insurance Alliance (NIA), the nation's leading insurer focused exclusively on the 501(c)(3) nonprofit sector, has announced the appointment of Carlos Ballesteros as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Treasurer.

Ballesteros brings with him a wealth of experience, being a Certified Public Accountant and an accomplished executive with nearly 20 years of technical, operational, and strategic finance expertise. His previous role was at Green Dot Corporation, where he spent a decade in various finance roles, ultimately serving as Vice President of Finance. In this capacity, he led the financial planning and analysis team and spearheaded numerous company initiatives.
Prior to Green Dot Corporation, Ballesteros spent nine years at Ernst & Young LLP in the audit practice. There, he led both local and multinational teams as a Senior Manager, primarily within the real estate, hospitality, and construction sectors.
