Onco-Innovations Achieves Kilogram-Scale Manufacturing Milestone for ONC010 Cancer Therapy

Onco-Innovations Limited (CBOE CA: ONCO) (OTCQB: ONNVF) (Frankfurt: W1H) has achieved a significant manufacturing milestone for its lead drug candidate ONC010, a nanoparticle-formulated Polynucleotide Kinase Phosphatase (PNKP) inhibitor targeting solid tumors. The company announced the successful advancement of kilogram-scale manufacturing activities for the B4 precursor component, conducted through its chemistry, manufacturing and controls collaboration with Dalton Pharma Services.

The effort resulted in the production and isolation of approximately 952 grams of B4 material, supporting future formulation development, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) production, and planned clinical studies. This milestone strengthens the company's integrated development strategy and supports the establishment of a scalable production process for future clinical supply.

In a separate announcement, Onco-Innovations disclosed the engagement of InvestorBrandNetwork ("IBN") to provide market awareness, corporate communications, and digital media services through September 30, 2026, or until budget exhaustion. The company will pay IBN an aggregate cash fee of US$76,500 for these services. Onco-Innovations also intends to apply an unused US$80,000 balance returned from a prior market awareness engagement toward the consideration.

Onco-Innovations is a Canadian-based company dedicated to cancer research and treatment, specializing in oncology. The company has secured an exclusive worldwide license to patented technology that targets solid tumors. The advancement of ONC010's manufacturing process is a critical step toward bringing this potential therapy to patients, as it enables the production of sufficient quantities for clinical trials and eventual commercialization.

The news highlights the progress in the development of PNKP inhibitors, a class of drugs that aim to disrupt DNA repair mechanisms in cancer cells, potentially enhancing the efficacy of radiation and chemotherapy. With the manufacturing scale-up, Onco-Innovations is better positioned to meet regulatory requirements for clinical studies and move closer to providing a new treatment option for patients with solid tumors.
