Operation Bangladesh, founded by Morad Shaker, has completed its original five-million-position allocation, marking a significant shift from its Bangladesh-centered origins to a broader international humanitarian framework under the Shaker Global Poverty Reduction Ecosystem. Of the initial 5,000,000 positions, 4,996,048 have been allocated, leaving only 3,952 as an operational security reserve for reconciliation, administrative corrections, or unforeseen needs.
The milestone follows the July 7, 2026 global expansion announcement, when approximately 4.2 million allocation units had been structured internationally. Originally designed as a confidential 2025 pilot to provide access to about five million underprivileged people in Bangladesh, the initiative faced significant operational challenges, prompting Shaker to open allocations internationally. According to Shaker, the program is roughly one year behind schedule due to these circumstances, but the mission remains unchanged.
The final five-million allocation spans 21 countries, with Thailand receiving the largest share at 2,435,000 positions, followed by India (600,000), Sri Lanka (500,000), and the Philippines (400,000). Other allocations include Vietnam, Tajikistan, Puerto Rico, Zambia, Tanzania, Lebanon, South Africa, Cambodia, Fiji, the United States, Zimbabwe, Maldives, Eswatini, Lesotho, Bahamas, Tonga, and Bangladesh. These figures represent planned participation allocations, not completed distributions of money or benefits.
In addition, Shaker has activated a separate 10-million-position reserve originally preserved for potential expansion tied to Bangladesh. This reserve is now being deployed globally, with 4,000,000 positions allocated to Phoenix Passage, a new humanitarian movement designed by Shaker and set to launch on January 1, 2027. Another 3,000,000 positions support Myanmar nationals, refugees, and immigrants in Thailand; 1,000,000 go to the people of Ukraine; and 50,000 to Afghanistan following a citizen petition from New Zealand. Additionally, 250,000 positions have been designated for the Shaker Global Animal Protection Foundation, a Wyoming-based nonprofit, to support its planned animal-protection work, including a pilot connected with Thailand.
From the 10-million reserve, 8,300,000 positions have been allocated, leaving 1,700,000 in reserve. The next phase involves approaching relevant countries and institutions to explore cooperation for implementation, which will depend on applicable laws, operational feasibility, resources, and voluntary cooperation.
