Pack Brothers Hospitality Expands with Acquisition of Three Iconic Virginia Restaurants

Pack Brothers Hospitality has announced the expansion of its portfolio with the acquisition of three iconic Virginia dining establishments: Decoys Seafood and Bennetts Creek Marina, Vintage Tavern, and River Stone Chophouse. This move aims to elevate Virginia’s culinary scene by integrating the Pack Brothers' renowned attention to quality and service.

As a family-run business, Pack Brothers Hospitality has a storied history of excellence in hospitality. Known for their successful restaurants and hotels across Virginia, including Smithfield Station and The Surry Seafood Company, the Pack brothers have built a reputation for delivering unforgettable experiences rooted in meticulous attention to detail and a genuine passion for hospitality.

Co-Founder Randy Pack expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, stating, “We are excited to welcome Decoys Seafood, Vintage Tavern, and River Stone Chophouse into the Pack Brothers family. Decoys Seafood and Bennetts Creek Marina offers a waterfront dining experience with a diverse menu of gourmet comfort foods, an on-site seafood restaurant, a 60-slip marina, The Blind Duck Tiki Bar, and four luxurious cottages. It aims to be a premier destination for both casual dining and special occasions.

Vintage Tavern is celebrated for its Seasonally Southern menu and rustic arts and crafts architecture. Signature dishes include the Taste of Southern Goodness sampler and oven-baked flounder with herb-onion spoon bread. The restaurant has recently received a two-stem award from Wine Spectator, highlighting its commitment to exceptional wine offerings.

River Stone Chophouse is known for its steaks, seafood, and raw bar, featuring in-house aged Hereford Beef and custom-cut steaks. The restaurant’s ambiance is enriched by an Arts and Crafts-inspired design, a stone fireplace, and a vibrant bar scene. The venue also offers a stone patio with a fire pit and private rooms equipped with advanced audio-visual technology.
