Perkins American Food Co. Relaunches Brand Conference, Honors Top Franchisees

After a pandemic-induced hiatus, Perkins American Food Co., formerly known as Perkins Restaurant & Bakery®, has relaunched its Brand Conference under the theme 'Elevate'. The event was attended by over 300 members, including corporate teams, franchisees, and key partners, and focused on unveiling a new vision for the brand while recognizing top-performing franchise partners.

Among the highlights of the conference were the awards presented to exceptional franchisees. James Rahfaldt of CyHawk Hospitality received the newly introduced President's Award, while Patrick Doyle of Queen City Family Pancakes was named Franchisee of the Year. These awards celebrated their outstanding contributions to the Perkins brand and their communities.

"We are deeply honored to have franchise partners who believe so strongly in our brand. They strive for excellence in their restaurants tirelessly, helping deliver our commitment of incredible value, outstanding quality and service that goes above and beyond to our guests every day," said Toni Ronayne, President of Perkins American Food Co. She emphasized that the partnership with franchisees, both long-standing and new, is crucial for the brand's future.

The Elevate Conference, held at Mystic Lake Center in Minnesota, acknowledged franchise partners for achievements in various areas such as sales growth, guest experience delivery, and community service. Patrick Doyle, who joined Perkins in 1993 and owns three locations in South Dakota and Nebraska, was recognized for his leadership and operational excellence, achieving a 10% sales growth from the previous year.

Jim Rahfaldt, a nearly 40-year veteran of the Perkins family who now owns 19 restaurants across seven states, was honored with the President's Award for his exceptional leadership and commitment to the brand. "Jim has demonstrated exceptional leadership, built a lasting legacy, is an innovator, and has shown remarkable commitment to the brand," noted Ronayne.

This relaunch and the recognition of top franchisees underscore Perkins American Food Co.'s dedication to quality and community engagement, setting the stage for continued growth and success in the future.
