Plume Network has announced a strategic integration with TRON to launch SkyLink across the TRON Network, providing TRON's global user base with direct access to asset-backed yields from tokenized U.S. Treasuries, private credit, and other real-world financial products. This development is significant for TRON, known as a leading decentralized payments and settlement network in emerging markets, as it now allows stablecoins circulating on TRON to be deployed into real-world asset (RWA) yield strategies and institutional-grade investment assets.
Chris Yin, CEO of Plume, highlighted the importance of this integration, stating, 'TRON is one of the most systemically important networks in crypto today – moving billions in stablecoins daily across global economies.' The integration leverages TRON's settlement network to provide broader access to real-world assets and yields, enabling users and institutions to preserve dollar liquidity while earning sustainable returns.
SkyLink, Plume's omnichain RWA yield distribution protocol, uses LayerZero’s SyncPools architecture to ensure secure, permissionless access to institutional-grade financial products across chains. This allows yield to be streamed continuously and transparently to users’ wallets via mirrored YieldTokens, while underlying liquidity remains locked on each native chain, including TRON.
Sam Elfarra, Community Spokesperson for the TRON DAO, emphasized the collaboration's role in enhancing TRON's mission for speed, scale, and accessibility. 'By integrating SkyLink, we’re enabling users around the world to access compliant and institutional-grade, dollar-denominated investment products directly from their wallets or custodians,' Elfarra said. This integration represents a new era of financial empowerment through DeFi, offering users access to treasuries, corporate bonds, and structured credit.
SkyLink’s mirrored YieldTokens and LayerZero’s SyncPools architecture ensure omnichain compatibility, unified compliance standards, and native composability across supported ecosystems, including Solana, TRON, Sui, Soneium, Injective, and Omni Network.
