Powermax Minerals Completes 2026 Field Program at Cameron REE Project, Advancing Rare Earth Exploration in British Columbia

Powermax Minerals Inc. (CSE: PMAX) (OTCQB: PWMXF) (FSE: T23) has announced the completion of its 2026 field exploration program at the Cameron Rare Earth Element (REE) Project near Revelstoke, British Columbia. The program, conducted in July and August, involved geological mapping, prospecting, rock-chip, soil and stream-sediment sampling, and handheld radiometric screening across priority target areas. The company collected 250 samples—comprising 50 rock-chip, 50 soil, and 150 stream-sediment samples—which have been submitted to AGAT Laboratories in Calgary for analysis.

This field program was designed to expand geological and geochemical coverage of areas identified through previous sampling, mapped pegmatites, geological contacts, and drainage catchments. By integrating the new analytical data with existing geological and radiometric information, Powermax aims to refine and rank targets for potential additional surface work, trenching, or future drill evaluation. The successful execution of this program marks a significant step in advancing the Cameron REE Project, which is part of Powermax's broader portfolio of rare earth properties.

Rare earth elements are critical components in modern technologies, including electric vehicles, wind turbines, and various electronics. As global demand for these elements continues to rise, companies like Powermax are positioning themselves to supply the market. The Cameron REE Project, comprising three mineral claims totaling approximately 2,984 hectares, holds potential for significant rare earth mineralization.

Powermax Minerals is a Canadian mineral exploration company focused on advancing rare earth element projects. In addition to the Cameron property, the company holds an option to acquire the Atikokan REE Property in NW Ontario, the Pinard REE in Northern Ontario, and owns a 100% interest in the Ogden Bear Lodge Project in Crook County, Wyoming. These assets provide a diversified portfolio that strengthens the company's position in the rare earth sector.

The completion of the 2026 field program at Cameron is a key milestone for Powermax as it progresses toward potential resource definition and development. The company plans to release results once laboratory analyses and QA/QC reviews are complete, which will inform next steps in exploration. Investors and industry observers will be watching closely for these results to gauge the project's potential.
