Club Underdog, a subsidiary of North Sixth Group, has announced the appointment of private equity veteran Daniel Hall as its new Managing Partner. Hall brings a wealth of experience in finance and legal services, having previously held significant roles at Ares Management and co-founding the alternative credit investment firm Pacific & Plains.

Hall's career trajectory includes a decade-long tenure as Partner at Ares Management, where he also served as General Counsel, Secretary, and Chief Legal Officer of the Ares Dynamic Credit Allocation Fund (NYSE: ARDC). He began his professional journey at prestigious law firms Norton Rose Fulbright and Clifford Chance, where he worked as an Associate and Senior Associate.

Reflecting on his new role, Hall stated, "Sports is one of the fastest-growing asset classes, and beyond the financial component, brings a sense of purpose, meaning and community that is important to me at this stage of my career." Hall was initially attracted to Club Underdog after investing in its assets and witnessing firsthand the inspiring and compelling vision of the organization.

Club Underdog's ownership group includes North Sixth Group CEO Morgan Harris and media and sports executive Matt Rizzetta. Harris emphasized the significance of Hall's appointment by stating, "Welcoming Daniel as a Managing Partner is an important step forward in the vision and evolution of our Club Underdog portfolio." Harris believes that Hall's extensive financial services acumen will complement the group's proven track record in the sports, media, and marketing sectors.

The group also made history by launching an expansion football franchise in Brooklyn, set to compete in the USL Super League and USL Championship in 2024 and 2025, respectively.

Club Underdog is a multi-asset sports ownership entity wholly owned and operated by North Sixth Group, a family office operating company based in New York and Los Angeles.
