The DFW Car & Toy Museum has added a striking piece of automotive history to its extensive collection: a 1939 Fiat 500 A 'Topolino' Transformable. This rare convertible, restored in Turin, Italy, represents more than just a vintage automobile—it embodies the innovative spirit of pre-war European transportation design.

The compact vehicle, finished in classic beige with a black beltline and tan cloth interior, features a retractable canvas top that exemplifies the era's engineering creativity. Powered by a modest 569cc four-cylinder engine producing 13 horsepower, the Topolino—meaning 'little mouse' in Italian—was designed to provide affordable, stylish transportation for everyday citizens.

Museum founder Ron Sturgeon describes the car as a 'piece of rolling history,' highlighting its significance beyond mere mechanical transportation.
