A rare 2002 Ferrari 575M Maranello has been unveiled at the DFW Car & Toy Museum, offering automotive enthusiasts a glimpse into Ferrari's engineering prowess of the early 2000s. The vehicle, finished in Ferrari's signature red, represents a pinnacle of front-engine, rear-wheel-drive performance.
Powered by a formidable 5.7-liter V12 engine, the 575M delivers 508 horsepower and 434 lb-ft of torque. Its advanced engineering includes a six-speed F1 sequential transaxle, limited-slip differential, and Skyhook suspension system with adaptive dampers, ensuring exceptional handling and performance.
The car's interior matches its mechanical sophistication, featuring automatic climate control, electric windows, and a Kenwood audio system. With only 15,000 miles on the digital odometer, the vehicle represents a near-pristine example of Ferrari's grand touring heritage.
Museum owner Ron Sturgeon noted the vehicle's significance, describing it as a "rolling tribute to Ferrari's grand touring legacy." The 575M joins over 200 other classic and exotic vehicles in the museum's collection, providing visitors with a comprehensive automotive experience.
The museum's free admission allows car enthusiasts and casual visitors alike to appreciate this exceptional piece of automotive history, highlighting the ongoing cultural and technological significance of high-performance sports cars.
