Regence has announced significant changes to its sales leadership structure in Washington and Oregon, aimed at fostering greater collaboration and positioning the company for sustainable growth across both states.
Michael Cole, president of Regence in Oregon and Washington, emphasized the strategic rationale behind the leadership changes. "Oregon and Washington have much more in common than they have apart, with employers, providers and brokers increasingly working across state lines," Cole stated.
Key leadership appointments include Stacy Crim expanding her role to vice president of the Washington market, with added responsibilities for account management. Renee Balsiger will continue as vice president of the Oregon market. Stephanie Walker will now oversee all public-sector accounts in Washington, including the State Health Care Authority, while Tracy Olsen will direct new sales across both Oregon and Washington.
The reorganization reflects the evolving healthcare landscape in the Pacific Northwest, where regional boundaries are becoming increasingly fluid. By creating a more integrated leadership approach, Regence aims to better serve customers and communities across state lines.
These changes come as Regence continues to serve over 3.6 million people through its health plans in the region, positioning the organization to more effectively respond to the interconnected healthcare needs of employers, providers, and patients.
