Rogue Space Systems Joins $12 Million U.S. Space Force R2C2 Program

Rogue Space Systems has secured a position in the United States Space Force's (USSF) Rapid Resilient Command and Control (R2C2) program, marking a significant step in the company's commitment to advancing space operations and logistics capabilities. The Space Rapid Capabilities Office (Space RCO) has allocated $12 million in initial delivery orders to 20 small businesses, including Rogue Space Systems, as part of the R2C2 program's efforts to modernize USSF satellite operations.

The R2C2 program, co-led by Space RCO and Space Systems Command, aims to develop a cloud-based satellite operations infrastructure that will enhance the flexibility of military operators in commanding and repositioning satellites in response to emerging challenges. This infrastructure will support critical ground segment software for dynamic USSF satellites, enabling key functions such as Rendezvous and Proximity Operations (RPO) planning, antenna brokering, telemetry, tracking, and command.

Jon Beam, CEO of Rogue Space Systems, expressed the company's honor in being part of the R2C2 program and its commitment to contributing to the modernization of Space Force logistical operations. The initial delivery orders are designed to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the R2C2 architecture and support the onboarding of essential personnel.

The R2C2 program's Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle is capped at $1 billion over a five-to-seven-year ordering period. This substantial investment underscores the importance of modernizing satellite operations and the potential long-term impact on space logistics and defense capabilities.

Rogue Space Systems' involvement in the R2C2 program builds upon its track record of supporting the U.S. Space Force, including multiple Phase II contracts awarded through the AFWERX Small Business Innovation and Research (SBIR) program. The company's participation in R2C2 positions it to compete for future contracts aimed at advancing Space Force operations.

The collaboration among the 20 small businesses involved in the R2C2 program is expected to drive innovation and ensure the successful modernization of satellite logistical operations.
