Safe Pro Group Receives U.S. Army Order for AI-Powered Threat Analysis Kit with Red Cat Drones

Safe Pro Group Inc. (NASDAQ: SPAI), a developer of AI-enabled defense and security solutions, announced it has received a U.S. Army order for a Threat Analysis Kit that integrates its edge-compute NODE platform with Red Cat Holdings’ (NASDAQ: RCAT) Black Widow drones. The order was awarded through a Defense Prime Contractor subcontract and includes annual AI model and algorithm software upgrades, training, and operational support services, with delivery expected in the second quarter of 2026.

The kit leverages Safe Pro’s patented SPOTD technology, which utilizes AI and machine learning trained on one of the world’s largest real-world drone imagery datasets to detect landmines, unexploded ordnance, cluster munitions, ambush drones, and other battlefield threats. Operating without connectivity, the NODE platform rapidly converts drone-collected visual data into detailed 2D and 3D maps and models, providing enhanced situational awareness based on a dataset containing more than 2.75 million drone images and over 50,000 confirmed threat detections from Ukraine.

This order underscores the growing importance of AI-driven solutions in modern warfare, where rapid and accurate threat identification can save lives and improve operational efficiency. For the defense industry, this signifies a shift toward autonomous, AI-powered tools that reduce reliance on manual analysis. The integration with Red Cat’s Black Widow drones highlights the trend of pairing advanced drone hardware with sophisticated software to create comprehensive battlefield intelligence systems.

Safe Pro Group’s technology targets multiple markets, including commercial, government, law enforcement, and humanitarian sectors. The company’s scalable platform, built on Amazon Web Services (AWS), aims to provide safer alternatives to traditional human-based analysis methods. For investors, this contract signals potential growth in the defense AI sector, with Safe Pro positioned as a key player. The news also reflects the U.S. military’s commitment to adopting innovative technologies for threat detection and situational awareness.
