Safe Pro Group to Showcase AI-Powered Threat Detection on Red Cat Drones for U.S. Army Exercises

Safe Pro Group Inc. (NASDAQ: SPAI) announced it will unveil its new InFlight embeddable, real-time AI-powered threat detection package integrated into Red Cat Holdings’ (NASDAQ: RCAT) Black Widow(TM) drones during U.S. Army exercises scheduled for the third quarter of 2026. The InFlight system, embedded directly onboard the Black Widow platform selected under the U.S. Army’s Short Range Reconnaissance Program of Record, enables real-time detection and location of more than 150 explosive threats, including landmines, cluster munitions and ambush FPV drones.

This integration delivers live threat data into the Army’s Tactical Assault Kit software ecosystem, a move that could significantly enhance battlefield situational awareness and tactical decision-making for soldiers. By processing threat detection onboard the drone, InFlight reduces reliance on ground-based analysis and speeds up response times in combat scenarios.

The demonstration comes as the U.S. military increasingly adopts AI-powered solutions to counter evolving threats from improvised explosive devices and drone swarms. Safe Pro’s technology leverages commercially available off-the-shelf drones with proprietary machine learning and computer vision algorithms, offering a scalable alternative to traditional human-based analysis methods. The cloud-based ecosystem, powered by Amazon Web Services, allows rapid identification of threats across multiple sectors including defense, humanitarian demining, and law enforcement.

For investors, this collaboration with Red Cat and the U.S. Army underscores Safe Pro’s growing footprint in defense contracts. The company’s AI platform targets commercial, government, and humanitarian markets, where its Safe Pro AI software, Safe-Pro USA protective gear, and Airborne Response drone services work synergistically to deliver safety and operational efficiency.
