SHIB Announced as Title Sponsor for ETHToronto 2024

SHIB, a leading ecosystem of decentralized finance (DeFi) cryptocurrencies, has announced its role as the title sponsor for Canada's largest Web3 events, including the Blockchain Futurist Conference, ETHToronto, and ETHWomen. These events are scheduled to take place on August 13-14, 2024, in Toronto, Canada, and are part of Canada Crypto Week, the country's largest cryptocurrency and blockchain showcase.

Last year at ETHToronto, SHIB made headlines by announcing the mainnet launch of its Ethereum Layer 2 (L2) blockchain, Shibarium. Through The Shiba Inu Mint S.A., a Panama corporation, SHIB announced a new $12 million strategic venture capital round. This funding will be used to enhance and expand the Shibarium blockchain, focusing on security and regulatory compliance.
