SteadIP has launched a dedicated IPv4 over WireGuard service designed to address connectivity challenges faced by homelab users, developers, and small businesses. The service provides customers with a clean, stable public IPv4 address delivered through an encrypted WireGuard tunnel, eliminating the need for changes to their existing ISP connections.
Modern home and small office networks frequently encounter issues such as changing ISP addresses, Carrier-Grade Network Address Translation (CGNAT) restrictions, and limited inbound connectivity. SteadIP's solution enables both reliable outbound "egress" for IP allowlists and inbound access to self-hosted services, which is crucial for applications requiring consistent network access.
The service offers two inbound connectivity options tailored to different user needs. Selected Port Forwarding is ideal for exposing only specific TCP/UDP ports, such as SSH, HTTPS, or game servers. For users requiring broader inbound reachability for labs, appliances, or small and medium business environments, higher-tier plans include Forward All Ports (1:1 NAT) capabilities.

In addition to dedicated IP allocation, SteadIP includes optional hostname support under steadip.com, allowing customers to assign memorable names to their dedicated IP addresses. Customers can also add extra dedicated IPv4 addresses as needed for separating environments, services, or allowlists, providing flexibility for growing network requirements.
SteadIP is available immediately with plans starting at $5 per month or $50 annually, including a dedicated IPv4 and selected port forwarding. Pro plans offer higher traffic allowances, additional device support, and Forward All Ports (1:1 NAT) capabilities. The service is designed for stable inbound connectivity, predictable outbound egress, and clean IP reputation for legitimate use cases, addressing a significant gap in the market for reliable public IP solutions outside traditional business infrastructure.
