Substantial UFO Production Archive Featuring Rare Roswell Yearbook Heads to Auction

The professional archive of Emmy Award-winning television producer Chris Wyatt, assembled between 1992 and 2004 during what many consider the modern era of UFO investigation, will be available through an online auction on Saturday, December 13, 2025. According to Direct Auctions owner Jeff Schwarz, who has forty years of experience liquidating assets, the industry response has been significant, with film production companies and UFO collectors globally expressing immediate interest. Schwarz stated that in his career, this is the number one auction in terms of immediate interest he has ever handled.

The collection represents a turnkey production resource for television companies, streaming platforms, and documentary filmmakers, with full broadcast rights included. The winning bidder will acquire 39 hours of broadcast-quality master tapes featuring never-aired interviews with prominent figures in UFO research, including the second interview ever filmed with Bob Lazar discussing Area 51 and the S-4 facility. The archive also contains an original, unpublished feature film script about the life of Bob Lazar, enabling production of multiple documentaries without third-party licensing requirements.

Visual archives include over 150 original photographs from the private collection of Lt. Col. Wendelle Stevens, many previously unpublished, along with extensive B-roll suitable for historical documentaries. Research documents comprise more than 500 declassified government materials related to CIA projects, Project Aquarius, and Majestic 12, plus hundreds of vintage books and rare periodicals including Fate Magazine, Flying Saucers, and UFO Report for historical context.

The centerpiece artifact is the 1947 Roswell Army Air Force Base Yearbook, considered extraordinarily rare within UFO research circles. According to the collection's history, original versions were reportedly confiscated following the 1947 incident, with this copy acquired by Wyatt in 1996 from Roswell Air Force Base through a base officer who had preserved it. The yearbook provides personnel records that could enable researchers to locate witnesses, offering investigative angles for documentary projects.

Featured interview subjects include Bob Lazar, Gordon Cooper, Stanton Friedman, Linda Moulton Howe, Budd Hopkins, Dr. David Jacobs, and numerous additional contributors such as Stephen Bassett of the Disclosure Project, John Greenewald Jr. of The Black Vault, and Richard Hoagland. Wyatt described the collection as the raw DNA of the modern UFO phenomenon, captured before the internet diluted the narrative, offering unvarnished truth from people who lived it on broadcast-quality masters.
