Terrence C. Murphy Sr., former NFL player and entrepreneur, has launched Synergy Sports Capital, a new sports-focused private equity firm targeting high-growth opportunities beyond the traditional 'Big Four' leagues. According to a press release, Murphy has surpassed $5 billion in sales and acquisitions and has built, acquired, or invested in more than 110 companies under the Terrence Murphy Companies portfolio, valued at an estimated $7 billion.
Synergy Sports Capital focuses on acquiring and scaling high-growth sports leagues, teams, and sports-adjacent ventures positioned for significant expansion. The firm aims to capitalize on the evolving sports business landscape, where new leagues emerge and media consumption shifts, offering investors opportunities outside established major leagues.
To bring his vision to life, Murphy partnered with Manifestive Design, a Boerne, Texas-based creative studio owned by Callie Roberson. Murphy appointed Roberson as Brand Strategist for Synergy Sports Capital, recognizing her long-time role in shaping his ventures. “Callie is able to execute on my vision better than anyone else I know,” Murphy said. “She listens, refines the ideas and brings them to life. As a visionary, having someone who can integrate those ideas into real systems is incredibly important.”
Manifestive Design developed a complete brand ecosystem for Synergy Sports Capital, including its logo, brand identity, investor pitch deck, and a fully customized website. The integrated approach ensures that the firm’s digital presence, pitch materials, and visual identity consistently communicate its investment philosophy and leadership vision to investors and partners.
Murphy and Roberson have collaborated for nearly two decades on multiple ventures. “Callie has been an integral part of my entrepreneurship journey. One of the first brands I designed and built into a billion-dollar company in sales was with her help,” Murphy said. He added, “Synergy Sports Capital is one of my biggest ventures to date and I couldn’t think of anyone else to help me with my brand, logo, pitch deck and website.”
The newly launched Synergy Sports Capital website now serves as the firm’s digital home, presenting its investment thesis, sector focus, leadership vision, and long-term strategy for sports-focused private equity investments. The site and broader brand system are designed to reflect clarity, discipline, and momentum.
For Manifestive Design, the project underscores its ability to support founders at the intersection of entrepreneurship, finance, sports, and emerging industries. The studio, founded in 2022 by Callie Roberson, specializes in branding, graphic design, web design, and more, serving clients throughout the Texas Hill Country and beyond.
