Trailbreaker Completes Phase One Drilling at Coho Copper-Gold Project, Eyes Late 2026 Assays

Trailbreaker Resources Ltd. has completed its Phase One diamond drill program at the Coho Property in central British Columbia, a milestone that marks the first-ever drilling of the Coho Zone and sets the stage for a potential new copper-gold porphyry discovery in a region already hosting major mines.

The program comprised seven holes totalling 2,667.00 metres, testing an area of 1,000 by 800 metres and a vertical extent of 474 metres. The 8,000-hectare property lies 90 kilometres north of Fort St. James and 30 kilometres west of the Mt. Milligan copper-gold porphyry deposit, and is road accessible via a network of Forest Service Roads and logging roads. Detailed collar information is available in Table 1: Drill collar details for the 2026 program, while the spatial layout of the holes is shown in the 2026 drill plan map at the Coho Property.

Trailbreaker concurrently completed an induced polarization survey at the Coho Zone consisting of four east-west lines totalling fourteen line-kilometres. Preliminary results from that survey were used to site hole CH-26-07, which targeted a deep chargeability high and an ESE-trending structure 500 metres north of the King showing. The program also tested the Chinook showing, where historic channel samples graded 0.08 g/t gold and 0.29% copper over 11.4 metres and 0.13 g/t gold and 0.49% copper over 2.0 metres, as well as a historic interval of 0.64 g/t gold and 0.36% copper over 3.0 metres. A total of 1,415 drill core samples, including standard reference material and blanks placed at regular intervals, were submitted to Bureau Veritas' lab in Vancouver, with assay results expected in late 2026 or early 2027.

The significance for investors and the wider mining sector lies in the scale of the untested target and the company's expanding news pipeline. Trailbreaker also conducted surface exploration at the Masu Zone along Coho's western boundary, targeting the potential eastward extension of the 'A Zone' on the adjoining Trident Property, where Pacific Empire Minerals reported 240.0 m of 0.64% Cu, 0.41 g/t Au, and 2.8 g/t silver (Ag). Masu sits 3.3 kilometres east of that zone, and results from Trailbreaker's program are being compiled. Further property details are available in the company's link to presentation.

At the Atsutla Gold Project in northwestern BC, Trailbreaker completed a six-hole, 1,684-metre program in early August 2026 targeting the Highlands vein-hosted gold zone and the Swan copper-gold-silver-molybdenum porphyry zone, spaced 26 kilometres apart, as detailed in its August 10, 2026 news release. Assays remain pending. The company has since contracted Eagle Mapping for a property-wide airborne LiDAR survey and Aurora Geosciences Ltd. to complete an independent NI 43-101 technical report replacing a 2022 filing.

President and CEO Daithi Mac Gearailt said the company is well positioned to provide a steady flow of news through the remainder of 2026 and early 2027. For readers, the coming assay results will be the key test of whether Coho and Atsutla can add economic mineralization in a tier-one jurisdiction. The original release is available via www.newmediawire.com.
