TRON DAO Announces HackaTRON Season 6 Winners and Previews Season 7

TRON DAO has officially announced the winners of HackaTRON Season 6, which was co-hosted by HTX DAO, BTTC, and JustLend DAO. The event, held in Geneva, Switzerland, saw participation from over a thousand innovators building projects within the TRON ecosystem. The winners were awarded a share of the $650,000 prize pool, distributed in USDT equivalent in TRX.

In the Web3 track, which aims to accelerate the transition from Web 2.0 to Web 3.0, BlinkAI by Blink secured first place, followed by Transatron by Transatron and Toqen Factory by Decentra. In the DeFi track, HandShake by HandShakers took the top spot, with GuessThePrice by GuessThePrice and ChickenSwap/Bot by Coconut Chicken rounding out the top three.

The Artistry track, which focuses on creative blockchain applications, saw Unclaimed - Fall of Mankind by Unclaimed winning first place, followed by TOBA by TOBA and STAR-EX by Theras-Labs. The Integration track, previously known as the A.I. track, awarded JustMoney Explorer by JustMoney the first prize. CodeHive by HiveTeam and AnkerPay Tron by AnkerPay followed in second and third places, respectively.

The Builder track, recognizing teams with ongoing projects, celebrated Block Fabric by BlockFabric as the winner, with Vaulidity (formerly Solide) by Solide Project and USTX BOND by USTX taking second and third places.

The TRON community forum also selected winners, with SaveWallet by TronSave winning in the Web3 category and TronEnergize by TronEnergize topping the DeFi track. In the Artistry track, Unclaimed - Fall of Mankind by Unclaimed won first place. JustMoney Explorer by JustMoney and JustMoney Swap by JustMoney won the Integration and Builder tracks, respectively.

Special prizes included the Project Engagement category, awarded to Jumble Dude by Mandy and QuestArcade, and the Determination Prize, given to D-Safe Library and ZombieLand. The Ecosystem Prize was awarded to ChickenWars and Cukies Brain Buzz.

As HackaTRON Season 6 concludes, TRON DAO is gearing up for Season 7, promising new sponsors, judges, and co-hosts. The tracks will remain consistent, covering Web3, DeFi, Artistry, Builder, and Integration. Key dates include the submission period from July 25 to October 8, 2024, pre-selection from October 9 to October 23, judging and community voting from October 24 to October 31, and the announcement of qualifiers and winners on November 13.
