Troy University has selected TheLinkU as its strategic partner to enhance Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) opportunities for its student-athletes. The comprehensive partnership will provide Troy's athletes with advanced tools and resources to develop personal brands and generate revenue across all 16 sports programs.
TheLinkU will offer Troy Athletics a full suite of services, including national brand partnerships, revenue sharing modeling software, a NIL marketplace, personalized merchandise shops, and financial education resources. The platform aims to decrease donor dependency while creating sustainable revenue streams for the university's athletic department.
The partnership transfers operations of the Trojans Together Collective to TheLinkU, with co-founders Chuck Carson and Jason Jones supporting the transition. Troy University's athletics leadership views this collaboration as a strategic move to improve recruiting efforts and provide competitive advantages in the NIL landscape.
Austin Elrod, TheLinkU's founder and president, emphasized the platform's commitment to empowering student-athletes with tools for success.
