United Franchise Group (UFG) celebrated a record attendance at its 2024 World Expo in Nashville, drawing over 1,000 attendees from its various brands. The event highlighted innovations, networking, and UFG's commitment to empowering women in franchising and supporting its franchisees.

United Franchise Group™ (UFG) has set a new attendance record at its 2024 World Expo held in Nashville, Tennessee, drawing more than 1,000 participants from 10 award-winning brands, including nearly 100 international attendees. The event took place over three days at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center and featured learning sessions, networking events, and inspiring programming.
CEO Ray Titus noted the significance of the event, likening UFG's industry achievements to Nashville's iconic music scene. The Expo's agenda was packed with keynote speakers, interactive sessions, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, culminating in an awards gala.
The Expo, held every three years, saw its largest tradeshow to date with more than 300 vendors occupying an 80,000 square-foot floor. Vendors showcased their latest innovations and services to UFG franchise owners, and an intimate mixer was hosted at the Grand Ole Opry House for vendors, including 2024 Diamond Sponsors such as Avery, Canon, and HP.
Keynote speakers included well-known figures like Mike Michalowicz, author of "Profit First," and Amber Vilhauer, founder of NGNG Enterprises. The event also featured a Women in Franchising Breakfast, where over 150 women gathered to discuss leadership, selling strategies, and work-life balance. This event sets the stage for Women in Franchising National Appreciation Day on October 14, established by UFG in 2022.
Ray Titus' keynote emphasized the transformative role of AI in making data-driven decisions to better the organization. Another significant announcement was the launch of the UFG Cares Fund, in partnership with the Emergency Assistance Foundation, to provide monetary relief to employees and franchisees in times of need.
The event concluded with an awards gala celebrating outstanding contributions within the UFG community. Notably, Tom Foster of Venture X United Kingdom and Alex Springer & Méline Enguent of Graze Craze France were honored as Master License Partners of the Year. The Humanitarian of the Year award went to Mike Hemmelgarn of Intelligent Office Nashville, among others. The Rookie of the Year, MVP, and Hall of Fame awards were also presented to various distinguished members of the UFG family.
The UFG World Expo not only celebrated past achievements but also set the tone for future innovations and collaborations within the franchising industry, making it a pivotal event for stakeholders and industry participants alike.
