Loftus brings over two decades of experience in fintech, mergers and acquisitions, and venture capital to the role.
Most recently serving as Managing Partner at PayPal Ventures, Loftus led a $1 billion early-stage fintech investment fund and helped develop the firm's AI investment strategy. His extensive background includes serving as a strategic advisor to numerous high-growth startups across fintech, artificial intelligence, and global commerce sectors.
CEO Francoise Brougher highlighted Loftus's expertise, noting that his experience in scaling high-growth businesses will be crucial to Velocity Global's continued leadership in the Employer of Record category. The appointment comes as the company aims to expand its global workforce management solutions across more than 185 countries.
