Verge Technologies Convenes Cloud Convergence Summit to Help Enterprises Unify Fragmented Multi-Cloud Environments

Verge Technologies Inc. has announced the featured speakers for its Cloud Convergence Summit, a free virtual event scheduled for October 8 and 9, 2026, from noon to 5 PM Central each day. The summit is designed for CIOs, cloud architects, and tech founders who manage three or more cloud providers and seek to unify them into a single, coherent estate that minimizes downtime and operational friction.

Cloud convergence, as defined by Verge, is the principle that an enterprise should run on every cloud it needs while still feeling like it runs on one. Many large enterprises have unintentionally adopted multi-cloud environments, arriving there by accident, which results in separate consoles, separate policies, and databases that are difficult to move or protect. The summit aims to address these challenges head-on.

The event features speakers tackling cloud convergence from their industry's front lines. Jimmy Jobe, CEO & Co-Founder of Verge Technologies, will deliver the opening keynote, "The Cloud Convergence Model," on Thursday, October 8 at 12:00 PM CT, outlining a model for managing every database and every cloud as one virtual data center. Malur Narayan, CEO & Co-Founder of XTRIUM, will present "Leveraging Cloud Infrastructure for Critical Materials Decisions: AI to Mitigate Supply Disruptions," demonstrating how a unified cloud foundation can turn dispersed data into earlier warnings for supply chain disruptions.

Matt LeBaron, Founder & CEO of Pocketbook, will host a fireside chat titled "Cloud Sprawl Is a Procurement Problem: What to Fix Before Your Next Renewal," focusing on the cost side of convergence and what scattered cloud contracts and tools really cost. Jacqueline Suttin, CEO & Founder of MagenTrust, will discuss "Human in the Loop: Closing the Zero Trust Gap in Agentic AI for Government," addressing how human verification remains essential as database operations become autonomous. MagenTrust and Verge announced an integration on July 15, 2026. Prasad Jaladi, Founder & Chief Facilitator at Suraksha, will explore "The Dual Mandate for Enterprise Architecture," covering the design of one coherent enterprise estate across many platforms. Click here for all Speakers. Additional speakers are being confirmed and will be announced to registrants first.

Attendees will learn how enterprises running four to seven cloud providers are replacing separate consoles with a single management plane, how operators are working to eliminate planned outages and cut disaster recovery time for the database layer, and how to build a cloud estate that is intentionally resilient and cost-aware. They will also explore autonomous management in the AI era, including self-healing, predictive infrastructure that readies enterprises for expanding AI workloads. After the event, attendees can request a sandbox of Verge's SentientDB on their own stack.

The summit is free to attend, and recordings will be available to all registrants within 48 hours. Registration is available at https://luma.com/9zydgx4h. Sponsorship opportunities can be discussed via Email Contact. Verge Technologies Inc. builds SentientDB, an AI-driven platform that lets enterprises manage databases across cloud providers, regions, and environments as if they were in one virtual data center.
