Verizon Launches Motorola Razr 2026 at $0, Its Most Affordable Folding Phone Yet

Verizon (NYSE, Nasdaq: VZ) today introduced the next-generation Motorola Razr 2026, its most affordable folding phone to date, available starting May 21 for $0 with a new line on any myPlan for 36 months via Verizon Device Payment (0% APR; $799.99 retail). The move underscores Verizon's strategy to bring foldable technology to a broader audience without sacrificing performance or style.

The Razr 2026 combines the iconic flip design with Motorola's AI capabilities and Google Gemini integration, aiming to simplify daily tasks while fitting comfortably in a pocket. The device is part of Motorola’s device lineup that offers options from affordable powerhouses to premium foldables.

Verizon is backing the launch with competitive offers, including a three-year price-lock guarantee on base monthly rates for myPlan and myHome network plans, providing customers with price stability. New and existing customers can also get the Razr 2026 or the moto g for free with a new line on myPlan, subject to terms and conditions.

The Razr 2026 will also be available on Visible, Verizon’s digital-first wireless brand, starting May 21, expanding access to customers seeking a streamlined, online-only experience. For those switching to Verizon, the company offers a transparent bill comparison at any store and the Pro On The Go service (powered by Asurion), where an expert delivers the phone and assists with setup, including transferring photos and contacts.

Customers who bring their own Razr 2026 to Verizon can unlock additional savings: for a limited time, they can get mobile and home internet for as low as $69.99 per month (with Fios 300 Mbps for $19.99/mo and one line on Unlimited Welcome for $50/mo, plus taxes and fees, with Auto Pay). New Verizon Home Internet customers can also receive three months of the FOX One perk for free, offering live and on-demand sports, news, and entertainment content.

This launch marks a significant step in making foldable phones more mainstream, as the Razr 2026's $0 upfront cost and AI features could attract budget-conscious consumers seeking premium design. The device is available at Verizon stores, online at verizon.com, or via the My Verizon app.
