Veterans Edu Expands Live Online SAT Classes to U.S. Time Zones for Korean Students Abroad

Korean students living in the United States who want to prepare for the Digital SAT with a Korean academy often face a significant hurdle: the time difference. Seoul-based education company Veterans Edu has addressed this by expanding its live online SAT program with dedicated sections scheduled for North American time zones, allowing students in the U.S. to attend classes in real time rather than in the middle of the night.

Test-prep programs that align with students' schedules and time zones are now a fundamental requirement for families choosing an SAT academy overseas, rather than a premium feature. Veterans Edu's U.S.-based sections are designed for North American hours, offering live instruction that allows interactive sessions with real-time feedback, unlike recorded videos.

For students who are more comfortable studying in English, Veterans Edu also offers English-only sections taught entirely in English. These are designed for international-school students and Korean-American students in the U.S. who use English as their primary academic language, so the language of instruction is no longer a barrier to enrolling in a Korean academy's SAT program.

The academy's approach is grounded in its own materials and measurable results. As of July 2026, Veterans Edu has produced a cumulative 1,538 students scoring 1500 or above on the SAT — one of the largest such totals among Korean SAT academies. The company reports that 19,824 students across 42 countries have taken its courses as of the same date, reflecting a student base that spans multiple time zones and school systems.

Beyond test preparation, Veterans Edu supports families through GPA management and U.S. university admissions guidance, areas that international-school students typically manage alongside the SAT. By combining a Korean SAT curriculum with U.S. time-zone scheduling and English-only options, the academy aims to make live, real-time SAT preparation accessible to Korean students wherever they are based.

Founded in 2011 and located in Gangnam, Seoul, Veterans Edu is an education company specializing in Digital SAT, TOEFL, and AP preparation, along with U.S. university admissions guidance, for students at international schools and Korean students living overseas.
