Vingroup's dramatic rise in TIME's World's Best Companies 2026 ranking, driven by strong revenue growth, employee satisfaction, and sustainability efforts, highlights Vietnam's growing corporate influence on the global stage.

Vingroup has been ranked 340th in TIME's World's Best Companies 2026, a jump of 477 places from its 817th position in 2025, according to a press release from the company. The ranking, conducted by TIME and Statista, evaluates companies on revenue growth, employee satisfaction, and sustainability transparency. Vingroup remains the only Vietnamese company on the list.

The conglomerate received an overall score of 81. In the first half of 2026, Vingroup reported consolidated net revenue of VND 222.9 trillion, up 72% year-on-year, and consolidated profit after tax of VND 20.904 trillion, 4.6 times higher than the same period last year. The company attributed this growth to its industrial manufacturing and real estate businesses.

Vingroup also improved its employee satisfaction ranking to 398th globally, up 496 places from 2025. The company now operates in 12 countries and employs approximately 400,000 people worldwide.

On sustainability, Vingroup highlighted its green transition initiatives and sustainable urban development. Its electric vehicle brand, VinFast, aims to deliver 300,000 cars and 1 million electric motorcycles globally in 2026. Vinhomes has introduced the ESG++ urban model, adding Regeneration and Resilience to the traditional ESG pillars.

In 2025, Vingroup expanded into infrastructure and green energy. Through VinSpeed, high-speed railway projects such as Ben Thanh – Can Gio and Hanoi – Quang Ninh are under construction. VinEnergo is developing energy projects across multiple localities. These moves are expected to enhance regional connectivity and accelerate the green transition.

This recognition matters because it signals Vietnam's increasing role in the global economy. Vingroup's success could attract more foreign investment and encourage other Vietnamese companies to pursue international standards in governance and sustainability. For readers, it underscores the rise of a major player in electric vehicles and infrastructure, with potential impacts on global supply chains and green technology markets.

Previously, Vingroup was the first Vietnamese company to qualify for the 2025 ranking. VinFast has also been recognized by TIME in the TIME100 Most Influential Companies 2024 and Asia-Pacific's Best Companies of 2025. For more information on TIME's rankings, visit https://time.com.
