VYRAX, a sports and fitness research and development center, has introduced VYRAX Core, a training system that merges an ab roller with a high-intensity interval training (HIIT) platform. The announcement, made on October 13, 2026, highlights a device designed to offer users greater variety in core training without the need for multiple pieces of equipment or a separate docking station.
The system’s key innovation lies in its integrated side supports, which allow users to switch between two distinct modes—Roller Mode and Interval Mode—in just three seconds. In Roller Mode, the wheels contact the floor, enabling controlled back-and-forth rolling and “bear-crawl”-style movements, with an included wheeled foot support to prevent knees and toes from dragging. In Interval Mode, the side supports deploy to hold the unit stationary, letting users crank the handles for high-intensity efforts, recovery periods, or exercises like mountain climbers and push-ups. Pace, range of motion, and work-to-rest intervals can all be adjusted to match desired intensity levels.
Built with a stainless-steel bar and supports, the system has a company-stated supported load of up to 650 pounds. The package includes the main unit (handlebar, wheels, and retractable legs), a foot support, and an Allen wrench for assembly. VYRAX plans to launch VYRAX Core on Kickstarter in October 2026, marking its first campaign on the platform. The development schedule targets production in December 2026, with rewards shipping in February 2027. For more details, visit the VYRAX Core Kickstarter campaign.
This launch matters because it addresses a common friction point in home fitness: the need for dedicated space and multiple tools. By combining rolling and stationary exercises into one seamless flow, VYRAX Core could appeal to consumers seeking efficient, space-saving solutions. The high load capacity also suggests durability for a range of users. If the Kickstarter campaign succeeds and production stays on track, VYRAX could carve a niche in the competitive home fitness market, where convenience and versatility are increasingly valued. The move also signals the company’s ambition to transition from research and development to consumer-facing products, potentially influencing how other fitness equipment makers design multi-functional gear.
