Wire Industries' WagerWire has unveiled an innovative secondary marketplace for Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) Pools, marking a significant advancement in fantasy sports trading. The new platform, developed in partnership with RealTime Fantasy Sports, allows users to sell portions or entire DFS Pool entries directly within the platform.
The expansion builds upon the success of WagerWire's Pickem entries marketplace, which previously won two Fantasy Sports and Gaming Association awards for "Best Product Experience" and "Best Innovation". The new DFS Pool marketplace utilizes an advanced pricing engine that generates real-time suggested sales prices and deal scores based on thousands of simulations.
Tim Jensen, COO of RT Sports, emphasized the platform's unique value proposition, stating that no other fantasy platform enables users to transform their entries into tradable assets. The marketplace's dynamic pricing model calculates entry probabilities and real-time dollar values, empowering users with unprecedented market insights.
This development represents a potential paradigm shift in fantasy sports engagement, offering participants greater flexibility and liquidity in managing their entries. By allowing users to sell entries mid-contest, WagerWire is creating new opportunities for strategic decision-making and asset management in the fantasy sports ecosystem.
The platform's innovative approach extends beyond technical capabilities. Wire Media is supporting the expansion by focusing on storytelling and user experiences, positioning individual players as influencers and driving organic engagement.
The launch underscores WagerWire's commitment to revolutionizing real-money gaming markets, with CEO Zach Doctor noting the company's mission to provide liquidity across various gaming asset classes. The recent industry recognition, including Doctor's election to the FSGA Board of Directors, further validates the company's innovative approach.
