The company received top-tier ESG ratings from Sustainalytics, MSCI, and ISS, and was recognized on Corporate Knights' 2025 Global 100 and Canada's Best 50 list.
The company's 2024 sustainability efforts are marked by significant achievements. All new streaming deals underwent ESG screening, and 99% of production originated from mines aligned with the Global Industry Standard on Tailings Management. Wheaton demonstrated substantial community engagement, contributing over $8.5 million to global causes, with $6 million directed to partner site communities.
In its Climate Change Report, the company highlighted that 86% of its financed emissions have science-aligned targets. The report also aligns with the International Sustainability Standards Board's (ISSB) new S2 standard, indicating a robust approach to climate risk management and transparency.
