WhyIslam Dallas, in collaboration with the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), has launched a targeted billboard campaign to educate the public about Ramadan and Islam's core values. The initiative features two strategically placed billboards in high-traffic areas of the Dallas metropolitan region: one near the President George Bush Turnpike and Dallas North Tollway, and another on LBJ Freeway close to DFW International Airport.
The campaign aims to demystify Ramadan for non-Muslims by highlighting the month's significance as a period of reflection, spiritual growth, and community service. The billboards carry the message "Fast With Us!" and direct viewers to 1-877-WHYISLAM and www.whyislam.org for further information about Islamic practices and beliefs.
By positioning billboards in areas with high visibility and diverse populations, WhyIslam seeks to create an open dialogue and promote understanding between Muslim and non-Muslim communities. The initiative encourages people from all backgrounds to learn about the spiritual and humanitarian aspects of Ramadan.
Beyond the billboard campaign, WhyIslam Dallas is also conducting outreach through electronic media and planning a press conference on March 3rd to further discuss their community engagement efforts. The organization emphasizes its commitment to societal healing through humanitarian initiatives, including support for refugees and community programs.
