Wrap Technologies Outlines Strategic Transformation to Integrated Public Safety Platform

Wrap Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: WRAP) has issued a letter to stockholders outlining a strategic transformation aimed at evolving from a single-product company into an integrated public safety technology platform. The company is focusing on artificial intelligence, advanced sensing, autonomous decision support, and measured, non-lethal response. Its WrapShield platform is designed to integrate threat detection, classification, decision support, and proportionate response across law enforcement, border security, critical infrastructure, transportation, and defense support.

Key milestones supporting this strategy include a favorable ruling from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives classifying the BolaWrap 150 as an instrument of restraint rather than a firearm. Additionally, Wrap Technologies has invested in Frenel Imaging Ltd. and secured exclusive U.S. and NATO commercialization rights for its thermal-polarimetric sensing technology. The company also cited expanding customer adoption, growing international partnerships, increased bookings, and continued investments in technology as positioning it for long-term growth.

The BolaWrap 150, used by over 1,000 agencies in the U.S. and 60 countries, deploys a multi-sensory distraction of sight and sound followed by a non-lethal restraint, reducing the risk of injury to officers, subjects, and the community. It is not pain-based compliance and does not shoot, strike, shock, or incapacitate. The device is backed by training certified by the International Association of Directors of Law Enforcement Standards and Training.

Wrap Technologies also highlighted its WrapReality immersive training simulator, which provides first responders with realistic scenarios to enhance decision-making under stress. The WrapVision body-worn camera system, powered by IONODES, offers streamlined cloud integration and a made-in-America roadmap projected for early 2026, ensuring data integrity and eliminating concerns over unauthorized access or foreign surveillance risks.

The company's complete public safety portfolio also includes WrapTactics training programs and next-generation C-UAS solutions like PAN-DA and the 1KC Kinetic Anti-Drone Cassette. Management believes these investments and strategic moves position Wrap Technologies to address complex challenges facing public safety organizations while delivering safer, scalable, and cost-effective technologies.
