3DX Industries Taps Robotics Engineer Vamsi Sripada to Lead Advanced Systems Development

3DX Industries, Inc. (OTCID: DDDX), a U.S.-based advanced manufacturing company, has engaged robotics and artificial-intelligence engineer Vamsi Sripada as Technical Advisor - Advanced Systems, according to a company announcement. In the role, Sripada will lead technical development for 3DX’s Advanced Systems initiative, a strategic effort that expands the company beyond component manufacturing and into product development, intelligent physical systems and selected proprietary technology opportunities.

The engagement matters because it pairs Sripada’s engineering, robotics, artificial-intelligence and software-development expertise with 3DX’s established manufacturing platform. That combination gives the company the ability to develop intelligent systems and build their physical components and assemblies in-house, a capability that could position 3DX in the emerging market for integrated intelligent products.

“This is an important step in where we are taking 3DX,” said Roger Janssen, President and Chief Executive Officer of 3DX Industries. “Our manufacturing capabilities provide the physical foundation. Vamsi brings the engineering, robotics, AI and software expertise to help us evaluate ideas, support product development and connect intelligent technologies with real-world manufacturing.”

Sripada is an electrical, robotics and artificial intelligence engineer whose experience spans autonomous systems, software development, computer vision, LiDAR mapping, embedded electronics, robotic operating systems, controls and hardware integration. His project work includes autonomous drones, underwater robotic systems, mobile robotics and AI-enabled vision applications. He holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Bridgeport and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

At 3DX, Sripada will provide technical, engineering and strategic support across artificial intelligence, robotics, automation, software development, product development and advanced manufacturing. His work will include evaluating and advancing selected Advanced Systems opportunities where software, intelligent systems and physical manufacturing intersect.

“The opportunity for 3DX is in combining technical development with the ability to build physical products,” said Nicholas Coriano, Vice President of 3DX Industries. “Vamsi strengthens the technical side of that equation and expands our ability to pursue opportunities where robotics, artificial intelligence, software and advanced manufacturing come together.”

The engagement also expands 3DX’s ability to evaluate and develop proprietary technologies through selected Advanced Systems projects, including potential software, control systems, intelligent mechanical subsystems and integrated products for robotics, automation and other autonomous-system applications. That path to company-owned intellectual property could be significant for investors and industry observers tracking the convergence of manufacturing and intelligent systems.

“I am excited to work with the 3DX team and contribute to the development of Advanced Systems,” said Sripada. “Bringing robotics, artificial intelligence, software and advanced manufacturing together creates opportunities to develop practical intelligent systems with real-world applications.”

3DX Industries provides metal additive manufacturing, industrial printed plastics, precision CNC machining, design support, prototyping, finishing and assembly services. The company supports customers from concept and prototyping through production-ready components and assemblies.
