Activate Games Expands to Cambridge, ON, Marking 5th Ontario Location

Activate Games Inc., the pioneering company behind the world’s first active gaming experience, is set to open its latest location in Cambridge, Ontario, on July 14, 2024. This new establishment marks the fifth location in Ontario, underscoring Activate's rapid growth and its status as the fastest-growing entertainment concept globally.

The company has expanded to 14 locations in Canada and 12 in the United States, with future plans to venture into the UK, Ireland, and Dubai. The Cambridge site holds particular significance for co-founders Adam and Megan Schmidt, as it represents a return to the community where their entrepreneurial aspirations first began. Details about the new Cambridge location reveal that it will span 11,258 square feet and feature 11 different game rooms. Each game lasts between 1-3 minutes, with the full gaming experience taking approximately 75 minutes. The location is situated at 42 Pinebush Rd, Cambridge, ON N1R 8K5, easily accessible off the ON-401 at exit 282 Hespeler Rd/Waterloo Regional Rd 24.

Prospective visitors are advised to complete the mandatory waiver in advance, wear activewear and indoor runners, and note that the games are suitable for individuals aged 4 and older. The facility will operate from 9:30 AM to 10:00 PM Monday through Thursday, 9:30 AM to 11:00 PM on Fridays, 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM on Saturdays, and 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM on Sundays. Booking in advance is recommended to ensure availability.
