Activate, the pioneering live-action gaming venue and viral sensation on TikTok, is set to open its second Houston location on August 16, 2024. Following a successful launch in Katy, the new venue, located at 536 Sawdust Rd, Suite C, Spring, TX 77380, will offer guests a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the nationwide gaming phenomenon.
With 40 successful locations worldwide and a player base exceeding 2.5 million, Activate is revolutionizing the gaming landscape by combining cutting-edge technology with thrilling challenges. The new location aims to meet the growing demand for immersive, interactive experiences among Houston's residents and visitors.

The Grand Opening Weekend from August 23 to 25 promises special surprises for attendees. The state-of-the-art facility will offer various gaming experiences, including cooperative and competitive modes. Players can sign up in groups of two to five and use Activate's high-tech RFID wristbands to track progress, earn points, and level up.
Popular gaming rooms include the TikTok sensation Mega Grid, the bullseye-blasting Strike, and the spy-themed Laser room. Players of all ages and skill levels can choose from Level 1 easy to Level 10 extreme challenges.
Beyond Houston, Activate plans further expansion in 2024, with new locations slated for Columbus, Detroit, St. Louis, Cleveland, New York City, and a third location in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. Internationally, new venues will open in the UK and UAE, adding to the 40 locations already operational across Canada and the U.S.
Visitors to Activate The Woodlands should wear activewear and flat, closed-toe shoes. The venue will operate Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Admission prices start at $19.99 per player from Monday to Thursday and $24.99 per player from Friday to Sunday and on holidays.
