BEK TV has announced a significant partnership with JMar Entertainment to deliver comprehensive coverage of both professional and amateur bowling tournaments across the United States. This initiative is set to bring the sport of bowling into the spotlight, offering fans nationwide the chance to experience high-stakes competition and local talent.
The inaugural broadcast of the 'Headliners Bowling Series' will premiere on BEK TV on Sunday, August 18th, at 6 p.m. CT, live from Sioux Falls, SD. This event will showcase top Professional Bowling Association (PBA) talents such as Marshall Kent, Kris Prather, Kevin McCune, Keven Williams, and Zack Wilkins. The series will feature the Step Ladder Finals of the 'Farmers Union Insurance Midwest Open Championships' from Eastway Bowl. The same tournament will continue to Moorhead, MN, with another broadcast on August 25th at 6 p.m. CT.
Adding to the excitement, each broadcast will be preceded by a half-hour program called 'Frame by Frame,' also presented by JMar Entertainment. This supplementary show aims to enrich the viewer experience by providing insights and behind-the-scenes looks at the bowlers and the sport.
Jordan Hassler, Chief Operating Officer of BEK TV, stated, 'We are excited to partner with JMar Entertainment to bring these high-caliber bowling events to our viewers each week. Our commitment to delivering diverse and engaging content is stronger than ever, and we are proud to provide a platform that elevates the sport of bowling.'
Jay Fettig, Co-Owner of JMar Entertainment, echoed these sentiments, noting the substantial interest in bowling, which boasts 1.4 million league bowlers in the United States. He emphasized that JMar Entertainment aims to redefine the sport by making tournaments not just about competition but also about creating a fun and entertaining experience for all viewers.
Viewers can catch 'Frame by Frame' and the 'Headliners Bowling Series' live and on demand through the BEK TV+ App. A portion of each subscription will support youth bowling initiatives and scholarships, investing in the future of the sport.
