Financial educator and entrepreneur Nettie Reeves is launching the Pretty Broke Movement, a national financial empowerment initiative aimed at helping one million women move from financial uncertainty to confidence. The movement, inspired by her chapter 'Pretty Broke: The Price Women Pay To Fit In' in the Amazon #1 best-selling book Financial Trendsetters 4, addresses what Reeves describes as a hidden financial crisis facing women.
According to Reeves, many women inherited financial barriers they did not create, including limited education about building wealth and protecting their future. 'Pretty Broke isn't about criticizing women or how they choose to spend their money,' she said. 'It's about helping women realize they deserve to invest in their financial future with the same confidence they invest in every other part of their lives.'
Reeves, CEO of In Shape Financial Solutions, has a background in health, wellness, and personal growth, earning national recognition including the Steve Harvey Community Award and recognition during the Obama Administration.
