The Atlanta Community Food Bank has unveiled its new 2025 Board of Directors and Advisory Board members, marking a significant step in its ongoing efforts to address food insecurity across 29 counties in metro Atlanta and North Georgia. This strategic infusion of leadership and expertise is poised to bolster the organization's capacity to deliver vital programs and services to those in need.
Kyle Waide, President & CEO of the Atlanta Community Food Bank, emphasized the critical role of the board in steering the organization towards its mission. The new board members, including Althea Broughton as Chair of the Board of Directors and Amir Ghoddousi as Advisory Board Chair, bring a wealth of knowledge and a shared commitment to eradicating hunger in the community.
The appointment of individuals such as Sarah Brown, Stewart Gantt, and Kendi O'Mard to the Board of Directors, alongside Brittanie Browning and Somia Farid Silber to the Advisory Board, reflects the organization's dedication to leveraging diverse perspectives in its fight against hunger.
