Australian Plant Protein Brand Green Choice Proteins Sets Sights on U.S. Market With OneLavi Launch

Green Choice Proteins, a family-owned plant-based nutrition company based in Victoria, Australia, has announced that its products are coming soon to OneLavi.com, marking its first planned U.S. consumer availability as it pushes further into the American market. The upcoming launch will introduce the company's Australian-made plant protein powders to U.S. shoppers through an online retail platform.

The move matters because it signals a new competitive entrant in the crowded American plant-protein category, and it shows how an overseas manufacturer is choosing e-commerce as its entry point rather than traditional store shelves. The company views OneLavi as an important first step in a broader expansion strategy that also includes a planned Amazon launch and opportunities for additional retail distribution.

"Making Green Choice Proteins available to American consumers is something we've been working toward, and OneLavi represents an exciting first step," said Puneet Chawla, Founder of Green Choice Proteins. "We want to introduce our approach to plant-based nutrition to a new audience, with products that combine quality ingredients, enjoyable flavors, and the convenience people look for in their everyday routines."

Three products are slated for the OneLavi rollout, each built around what the company describes as ingredient transparency, flavor, and functional daily nutrition. The Chocolate Flavored Protein Powder delivers 35.3 grams of plant protein per serving, is made with Australian-grown pea and faba, and features pure cocoa powder and coconut milk powder, omega-3 from linseed, and no artificial colours, flavours, or fillers. The Vanilla Flavored Protein Powder offers 34.9 grams of plant protein per serving and is positioned for smoothies, oats, baking, and everyday nutrition routines, with a clean vanilla profile and omega-3 from linseed. The Salted Caramel Flavored Protein Powder also provides 34.9 grams per serving, combining caramel sweetness with balanced salted notes, Australian-grown pea and faba, omega-3 from linseed, and no artificial colours, flavours, or fillers. All three are manufactured in Victoria, Australia.

The OneLavi announcement follows the company's participation in the September 2026 ECRM Vitamin, Weight Management & Sports Nutrition Session in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, where it introduced its Australian-made products and brand philosophy to U.S. retail buyers. That combination of direct-to-consumer e-commerce and buyer relationship-building suggests the company is testing American demand online before pursuing wider shelf space.

"Our goal is to build Green Choice Proteins in the United States step by step," Chawla added. "OneLavi gives us an opportunity to begin reaching consumers directly, while our recent ECRM participation and plans for Amazon are part of a larger effort to introduce the brand across multiple retail channels."

Rather than targeting only traditional sports nutrition buyers, Green Choice Proteins emphasizes broader everyday appeal for consumers interested in clean-label ingredients and transparency, incorporating plant proteins from Australian-grown crops. For U.S. readers, the launch adds another option in the plant-protein aisle and highlights the growing pull of Australian-made, clean-label nutrition in the American market.
