BHS, Inc. has unveiled a new line of modular charging solutions designed for electric industrial vehicles, marking a significant step forward in the electrification of material handling equipment. The Universal Forklift Charger Stand (CSU), along with Cable Retractor Reel Mounts (CSU-PX) and Cable Retractor Reels (CRR), offers a customizable approach to charging infrastructure, accommodating the diverse needs of growing electric fleets.
Trent Boothe, Inside Sales Manager at BHS, emphasized the importance of adaptable charging solutions. 'As electric fleets expand, the infrastructure must evolve to meet varied requirements,' Boothe stated. The modular system allows for the charging of multiple types of industrial vehicles, including forklifts and automated guided vehicles, without the need for extensive floor plan modifications.
The CSU features shelves or horizontal mounts to support battery chargers of any design, enabling a single stand to power multiple vehicles simultaneously. Complementing this, the CSU-PX and CRR provide advanced cable management, with articulating arms and automatic retraction systems that accommodate cables of all sizes and weights.
Available immediately, these products cater to a wide range of industries, from warehousing and logistics to manufacturing and air travel, facilitating the transition to electric vehicle fleets. This development underscores BHS, Inc.'s commitment to supporting electrification efforts worldwide, offering solutions that combine flexibility, efficiency, and scalability.
