BOXABL, a company transforming the housing market with modular building systems, has announced a representation, import and distribution agreement with Bristol, England-based TerraCaita Limited. The partnership will facilitate the introduction of BOXABL’s factory-built housing products across the United Kingdom, the Channel Islands, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland.
Under the agreement, TerraCaita will represent BOXABL products throughout the region. BOXABL will provide two Casita units for display, demonstration, and marketing activities. The companies will collaborate on regulatory approvals, market development, and customer engagement initiatives as BOXABL seeks to expand its international presence. BOXABL said the agreement supports future sales opportunities across multiple market segments.
This expansion comes as BOXABL continues preparations for its proposed business combination with FG Merger II Corp. (NASDAQ: FGMC) and anticipated public listing. The agreement marks a strategic move into new geographies, potentially addressing housing shortages in the UK and Ireland with affordable, rapidly deployable homes.
BOXABL’s flagship product, the Casita, is a 361 square foot studio unit with a full kitchen, bathroom, and utilities. The Casita unfolds on-site in less than an hour and is manufactured inside BOXABL’s facilities. The company also offers the Baby Box, a smaller 120 square foot unit built to RV code, and is developing stackable and connectable box models that can be combined to form townhomes, multifamily units, or larger single-family homes.
The agreement with TerraCaita could have significant implications for the housing industry in the UK and Ireland, where housing affordability and supply are critical issues. By introducing rapidly deployable, factory-built homes, BOXABL may offer a solution to alleviate housing shortages and provide cost-effective alternatives to traditional construction. For investors, this expansion signals BOXABL’s growth trajectory and potential market reach ahead of its public listing.
