Canamera Energy Metals Files Technical Report Recommending Drill Program at Schryburt Lake Rare Earth and Niobium Project

Canamera Energy Metals Corp. (CSE: EMET) (OTCQB: EMETF) has filed an independent NI 43-101 technical report on its Schryburt Lake project in northwestern Ontario, recommending a C$1.5 million phase 1 diamond drill program of 1,500 meters across nine holes. The program targets rare earth and niobium mineralization across five priority areas, according to a press release.

The report underscores the increasing demand for neodymium and praseodymium (NdPr), key rare earth elements used in high-performance permanent magnets for electric vehicle motors, wind turbine generators, robotics, and defense systems. Niobium, a metal essential for high-strength steel alloys in pipelines, jet engines, and defense infrastructure, also faces supply constraints due to geographic concentration.

CEO of Canamera stated that “Schryburt Lake is a rare and genuinely underexplored carbonatite system in one of Canada’s most active mining districts.” The company is working to build supply of these critical elements amid global efforts to diversify sources outside China. A recent supply agreement in the sector highlights the growing importance of non-China NdPr sourcing.

The technical report provides a roadmap for exploration, aiming to advance the project toward potential development. The Schryburt Lake project is located in a region known for mining activity, which could facilitate infrastructure and permitting.

The company cautions that forward-looking information in the release involves risks and uncertainties, including the ability to raise capital, regulatory conditions, and the speculative nature of mineral exploration. Additional risk factors are available in the company’s continuous disclosure documents at www.sedarplus.ca.

The announcement comes as global demand for rare earths and niobium continues to rise, driven by the energy transition and defense applications. Canamera’s progress at Schryburt Lake could contribute to securing supply chains for these critical materials.
