Talent acquisition teams grappling with scheduling chaos, repetitive candidate inquiries, and the growing threat of AI-generated impostors now have a new suite of tools. candidate.fyi today launched its full agentic hiring platform, which the company describes as the largest release in its history. The platform deploys a lineup of AI agents that share a common knowledge layer, meaning information learned by one agent is immediately available to all others. This interconnected approach aims to eliminate the data silos that have long plagued recruiting software.
The agent lineup includes the Interview Companion Agent, which transforms interviews into structured intelligence that follows the candidate through the hiring process, ensuring key insights are not lost. The Recruiting Coordination Agent manages scheduling, rescheduling, confirmations, and follow-ups, and can be taught team-specific workflows, such as how to handle last-minute cancellations. For candidates, the Candidate Experience Agent provides round-the-clock answers to questions in the company’s voice, drawing on knowledge about the company and its processes. Two additional agents—the Interviewer Agent and Application Review Agent—are slated for release in the first quarter of 2027.
Central to the platform is the new fyi operator, which allows users to interact with the system using natural language requests rather than navigating screens and buttons. For example, a recruiter can ask, “Move this interview to next week and keep the panel,” and the operator executes the task. The operator is context-aware, recognizing which candidate and role are active on a given page, and can also be invoked via Slack by tagging @fyi in a hiring channel.
As AI makes it easier to falsify identities—through polished applications or deepfaked screening calls—candidate.fyi has introduced a trust layer across the platform. The Candidate Trust Profile aggregates signals from applications, interviews, and candidate profiles to determine whether a team is interacting with a real person, presenting that assessment directly where hiring decisions are made.
“Your team just got bigger,” said Kyle Connors, CEO and co-founder of candidate.fyi, in a statement. “Most AI shows up as another tool, another setup, another silo, another thing that doesn’t know what the last one did. We re-imagined the work AI does for you, how you work with it, and how you trust who’s on the other side. These agents work like a team because they are one. Welcome to agentic hiring.”
The launch builds on candidate.fyi’s experience powering hiring for companies such as CoreWeave, Yahoo, and Zendesk. For employers, the platform promises to reduce administrative overhead, accelerate hiring cycles, and improve the candidate experience—critical at a time when competition for talent remains fierce and remote work has made verifying applicant authenticity more challenging. By automating coordination and screening tasks, the platform could free recruiters to focus on strategic decision-making and personal engagement. However, the reliance on AI for candidate verification raises questions about accuracy and bias that the company will need to address as adoption grows.
