MARLTON, N.J. — On June 10, 2026, exactly ten years after the loss of singer Christina Grimmie, a new 30-minute documentary will premiere on the platform where millions first discovered her voice: her official YouTube channel.
Christina Grimmie: Her Voice and Legacy a Decade Later is the official 10th-anniversary tribute to the New Jersey singer whose talent, kindness, and unwavering faith continue to inspire fans around the world. Grimmie first built a devoted online following through YouTube before captivating audiences nationwide on The Voice, where she finished in third place in 2014.
Through personal reflections from her father, Bud, brother Marcus, and others who knew her best, the documentary traces Christina's journey from a young artist sharing songs online to a performer whose impact continues to be felt long after her passing. The film also sheds light on what came after the loss: a family that chose meaning over grief, and a foundation whose work continues to bring hope and support to others.
Rather than focusing on the tragedy of June 10, 2016, the documentary serves as a celebration of Christina's life—her music, her faith, her generosity, and the lasting influence she has had on countless fans, artists, and families over the past decade.
For director Chris Grant Jr., the project carries a deeply personal significance. A fellow New Jersey native, Grant admired Christina's commitment to her faith while navigating the entertainment industry and developed a close relationship with the Grimmie family in the years following her passing.

The documentary is produced by The GLMG Production Company, a New Jersey-based production company founded by Grant in 2022, in collaboration with ZXL Music. Grant's credits span Nickelodeon, HP, Verizon, Nintendo, and the City of Boston, where he produced the Virtual Heritage Celebration featuring Amanda Gorman under former Mayor Marty Walsh.
