Consensus Health has promoted Christine Hayek to Chief Operating Officer, leveraging her extensive healthcare operations background to further the organization's strategic objectives. With more than 25 years of industry experience, Hayek will be responsible for improving performance across the medical group's network of 172 independent providers.
Prior to her promotion, Hayek served as vice president of operations and human resources, where she managed 57 physician practices throughout New Jersey. Her professional history includes nearly two decades at AtlantiCare Health System, where she led significant strategic initiatives including practice acquisitions, healthcare transformation, and employee health program redesigns.
CEO Michael Lovett emphasized Hayek's proven track record in driving organizational success, highlighting her ability to partner with providers to improve patient experience and physician productivity. Her appointment follows Lovett's own promotion from Chief Operating Officer to Chief Executive Officer in early 2024.
Hayek brings robust academic credentials, holding a bachelor's degree in business management from Slippery Rock University and an MBA from Stockton University. Her extensive background in healthcare operations and human resources positions Consensus Health to enhance its statewide medical service delivery across 18 New Jersey counties.
