Electric vehicle manufacturer E-Cite Motors has entered a memorandum of understanding with The AIH Group, a globally recognized manufacturing and logistics consultancy, to streamline vehicle production and expand its international manufacturing footprint.
The partnership allows E-Cite to benefit from AIH's extensive expertise in automotive consulting, supply chain management, and contract manufacturing. With offices in over 10 countries, AIH will provide critical support in engineering, logistics, and production systems, enabling E-Cite to focus on vehicle design and development.
AIH Group's Managing Director Corrie Kotze highlighted the strategic potential of the collaboration, noting E-Cite's recent technological advancements as a key motivator for their involvement. E-Cite's Chief Operating Officer Gene Langmesser emphasized AIH's renowned industry reputation and unparalleled manufacturing management capabilities.
For E-Cite, this partnership represents a significant opportunity to accelerate production without the substantial upfront costs of establishing independent manufacturing infrastructure. CEO Barry Henthorn specifically noted the ability to track and control costs while simultaneously expanding global resources.
The collaboration positions E-Cite to leverage AIH's international network, potentially accelerating the company's strategy of developing innovative electric and internal combustion vehicles that blend modern technology with iconic automotive design.
