Elring's guiding message, "We maintain mobility," reflects its commitment to supporting professional repair shops. The company offers high-quality sealing solutions, extensive OE expertise, and a suite of services through Elring Garage, including training, technical support, and direct access to specialist knowledge. This approach helps repair shops work confidently with new technologies, streamline repair processes, and strengthen long-term competitiveness.
"As a trusted partner to repair shops and distributors, we aim to provide far more than high-quality replacement parts," said Dirk Willers, ElringKlinger's Chief Sales Officer, whose responsibilities include the Aftermarket business for the Elring brand. Elring Garage consolidates technical information, services, training courses, webinars, TechTalks, digital learning resources, and practical videos into a single platform. Developed in response to strong demand for greater technical support and hands-on knowledge, it helps repair shops handle diagnostic, maintenance, and repair work efficiently while expanding their capabilities. The enhanced platform provides quick access to relevant technical information, application guidance, and practical support, enabling professionals to complete repairs more safely and with confidence in new vehicle technologies.
The platform is evolving into an international network for workshop professionals, engine specialists, and automotive technology enthusiasts. Digital and face-to-face formats allow participants to connect globally, share knowledge, and build relationships. Offerings range from technical articles and exploded-view drawings to the Elring Academy, hands-on training, webinars, and roadshows, complemented by a service hotline and the Sealant Advisor.
A highlight is the new English-language video podcast "Elring Garage FM - Facts & Myths," where technical trainers and product experts discuss engine technology and workshop practice, explain technical principles, assess industry trends, and separate facts from myths. Available on major podcast platforms, the series delivers in-depth technical insights to a global audience.
"High-quality repairs depend on having the right products and the necessary technical knowledge," said Georges Mourad, Vice President Aftermarket at ElringKlinger AG. "Elring Garage brings together technical expertise, professional development, and international knowledge-sharing to support workshops as they adapt to technological change."
Alongside Elring Garage, Elring will showcase product innovations for engine and powertrain repairs at Automechanika. Highlights include new components for engine and transmission applications, such as oil pans, valve covers, oil filter housings, oil separators, and specialist tools. The range also includes cylinder-head gaskets developed for use after machining, ensuring reliable seals. Elring is expanding its portfolio for alternative powertrains, including gaskets for electric drive units (EDUs), shaft seals, and solutions for battery, inverter, and high-voltage applications.
The LiqRep portfolio, designed for economical and sustainable repairs, is also growing. These solutions support resource-efficient repairs of plastic and metal components, helping lower costs for workshops.
Elring will be present at Automechanika 2026 in Hall 4.0, Booth C12. The company's efforts underscore its role as a partner to repair shops in an era of technological change.
