Fashion Hong Kong Unveils 'Hong Kong Dopamine' Collections at CENTRESTAGE

HONG KONG – The Fashion Hong Kong Runway Show took center stage last night as part of CENTRESTAGE, delivering a sensory exploration of urban energy through the theme "Hong Kong Dopamine." Four prominent local labels – 112 mountainyam, ANGUS TSUI, ARTY:ACTIVE, and Z I D I – presented their meticulously crafted Spring/Summer 2027 collections, drawing inspiration from the city's lights, shadows, streets, architecture, and cultural memories.

Each designer interpreted "dopamine" from a distinct perspective, translating Hong Kong's unique pulse into a fashion language. Whether through joy, dark humor, dynamics, or the lightness of defiance, the collections offered a vibrant spectrum of emotions and aesthetics. The show received enthusiastic acclaim from industry professionals, celebrities, and fashion enthusiasts, including luminaries such as Kay Tse, Kevin Chu, Tony Wu, Locker Lam, and Jessica Chan.

The event is part of CENTRESTAGE, Asia's annual fashion extravaganza organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and sponsored by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA). Running until September 5 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, CENTRESTAGE is held concurrently with the 45th Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair and the 14th Salon de TIME. While CENTRESTAGE and Salon de TIME are open to both trade buyers and the public, the Watch & Clock Fair is exclusive to trade visitors.

This year's runway show highlights the importance of Hong Kong as a creative hub in Asia. The event not only showcases emerging and established designers but also reinforces the city's position as an East-meets-West center for cultural exchange. The HKTDC, celebrating its 60th anniversary, continues to promote Hong Kong as a global business and investment hub, with over 50 offices worldwide.

The Fashion Hong Kong series, organized by HKTDC since 2015, has taken Hong Kong designers to international stages in New York, London, Paris, Milan, Copenhagen, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Tokyo, and Seoul. This year's event continues that tradition, providing a platform for local talent to gain global exposure.
