FG Brands Unveils Franchise Industry's First Dual-Concept Beauty Studio

FG Brands, a self-care and wellness platform that owns two fast-growing skincare brands, has announced the launch of the franchise industry's first dual-concept beauty studio. The innovative model brings together Bare&Sol™ (formerly LA Bikini) and Facial Collective® under one roof, allowing franchise owners to offer a comprehensive range of whole body skincare treatments. This unique collaboration is designed to meet the needs of today's discerning beauty consumers, providing effective and affordable self-care solutions.

The dual-concept studio model keeps both brands independent, each focusing on its core offerings while sharing the same space. This co-location strategy capitalizes on the complementary nature of the two brands, creating significant operational and labor cost synergies, as well as revenue growth opportunities through cross-selling. According to FG Brands, the model is designed to maximize revenue per square foot, a key metric in retail and service businesses.

The first dual-concept franchise studio is set to open in Birmingham, Alabama, on Friday, Aug. 21, with more than 1,000 members already enrolled. This puts the studio on track to generate over $1.25 million in revenue in its first year. At 1,950 square feet with 10 treatment rooms, the studio demonstrates the potential of the dual-brand business model, which is predicated on recurring monthly membership revenue and additional complimentary revenue streams.

Jan Zalud, CEO of FG Brands, highlighted the significance of this launch: "As a leader in the beauty brand franchising space, we continue to explore dynamic and exciting ways to showcase the professional skincare offerings that give our franchisee partners an edge over the competition. Combining face care through Facial Collective® and hair removal and airbrush tanning through Bare&Sol™ into one convenient location is designed to offer our clients the ultimate in value and convenience - an all-inclusive experience where every customer is made to feel welcome. And for our franchise partners, it delivers the best possible opportunity to drive exceptional revenue per square foot."

The dual-concept studio features a reimagined design, focusing on a serene and inviting atmosphere. The modern interiors emphasize clean lines, soft textures, and warm accents, moving away from the cold, clinical feel often associated with beauty clinics. With membership rates starting as low as $49 per month, the studios aim to provide affordable access to regular self-care treatments, catering to cost-conscious consumers.

Bare&Sol™ specializes in all-natural, less-painful sugaring hair removal and UV-free airbrush spray tanning, while Facial Collective® offers high-performance facial treatments, targeted add-on services, a full line of skincare products, and select minimally invasive injectables. Both brands rely on membership-based business models, which generate recurring monthly revenue and contribute to strong unit-level economics.

FG Brands' dual-concept approach represents a significant development in the beauty franchise industry, offering a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs to operate two brands in a single location. This model not only enhances the customer experience but also provides operational efficiencies and revenue diversification.
